These three exclusive collections, developed for the Royal Palace of Madrid’s gift shop, are inspired by iconic decorative elements from the palace, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The starting point came from historical references such as the gown worn by Isabel de Farnesio in the portrait painted by Jean Ranc, whose ornate structure and detailing inspired geometric patterns that evoke baroque elegance. Additional inspiration was drawn from the hand-painted floral motifs on the Tibor de Indias vase in the Porcelain Room, and from the floral silk weavings by Antonio Gómez de los Ríos, all reimagined in a modern visual language while preserving their original spirit.

Each design was created using geometric forms to transform these classical elements into unique decorative patterns applied to everyday objects. The result is a curated selection of products—including bucket hats, hand fans, singer notebooks, silk scarves, and knitted socks, among others—that blend heritage, design, and functionality. Today, these collections are part of the shop’s permanent offering, allowing visitors to take home a contemporary piece of the Royal Palace’s rich artistic and cultural legacy.
